  Ginger has a wide variety of hand-puppet shows and programs so there is something to fit almost every need. From private birthday parties to month-long artist in education residencies, to educational workshops for other teachers and performers, Ginger and her puppets are sure to entertain, educate, and amaze! Ginger has performances suitable for every age group from toddlers to teens, and even a show or two that are specifically designed for adults to enjoy. Some of Ginger's Shows:
  • Dragon's Thaw - A Medieval Fantasy: (Includes a parade and interactive theatre presentation) This adventurous tale will take you to another world full of wizards, dragons, fairies, and princesses.

  • Call of the Sea: Pirates, mermaids, and a puzzling dilemma make this tale an entrancing mystery on the high seas! While entertained, young viewers will also learn about ocean life and the mysteries of the sea-conch.

  • The Nutcracker and the Mouse Queen: (Seasonal) This original story is the fairy-tale before the famous ballet.

  • Plum Blossom and The Dragon: A Chinese fairy-tale using one-hundred year old puppets and introducing some of the wonderful history and culture of China. The show culminates in a Chinese parade involving up to 35 of the audience members!

  • Gerelda's First Christmas:(Seasonal) The story that explains why even witches get visited by Santa.

  • Ginger has numerous other shows including: Hansel and Gretel, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, The Three Billy Goats Gruff , Little Red Riding-Hood, The Little Red Hen, and others. These are the classic tales you know and love, but with a few "Ginger-y" twists!


 
 
 

School and Educational Programs

Ginger has been an artist-in-residence at numerous schools, and her uses of puppets as educational tools have been the subject of many lessons and classroom projects.
